Assistant Technical Manager (Operations), Hysan Place

Job Purpose

Lead and supervise onsite technical team and out-sourced contractors to manage and implement day-to-day operational & preventive maintenance; emergency handling & recovery; system performance monitoring & control; and other improvement works.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, monitor, and implement the preventive routine maintenance works and projects within the assigned building(s).
  • Supervise and lead onsite technical team to work closely/ with buildings management office to provide technical supports and to ensure smooth running of building equipment and systems within the assigned building(s).
  • Supervise and monitor tenants’ fitting-out/ reinstatement work to ensure that it strictly follows the approved fitting-out drawings and up to the company’s standard.
  • Investigate, analyze, and evaluate the cause of building/system defects /failure with effective corrective actions.
  • Manage and handle emergency situations and ensure proper execution of emergency procedures established by the Company.
  • Lead the PM (Tech) team to proactively identity potential risks and make improvement and rectification recommendations.
  • Ensure the onsite technical team is fully aware of and comply with the company requirements on safety, sustainability, quality control, and statutory requirements.
  • Supervise routine maintenance related procurement process including purchase of maintenance related stocks, tools, and equipment.
  • Manage and control of maintenance related inventories to suit operational needs.
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience of which 3 years at supervisory level.  Candidate with less experience would be considered as Assistant Technical Manager (Operations).
  • Holder of Degree/ Higher diploma in Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Fluent in spoken and written in Chinese and English.
  • Good Leadership, interpersonal skills, and time Management. Result-oriented and able to work under pressure.
