Senior Manager, Technical Services (E&M)

Job Purpose

Deliver safe, reliable and cost effective operation and maintenance services to the Company assets, facilities and systems through leading and managing the technical services team; planning and executing the operation and maintenance works.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage building services team and works of the Technical Services Department to deliver safe, reliable and cost effective operation and maintenance services.
  • Establish operation and maintenance plans and manage the associated works to meet the above objectives.
  • Recommend and implement operation and maintenance policies, strategies and systems.
  • Recommend and implement the energy efficiency, indoor air quality and safety/health policies.
  • Plan and manage procurement and execute contracts and projects/works under the portfolio of the Technical Services Department
  • Provide recommendations and services to Business Units, Property Management Department and other Departments on technical issues, including technical opinions and comments on tenant fitting out, technical input on feasibility studies and new developments, manage minor alteration and modification works
  • Compile and manage budget
  • Continuous manage and review service quality and work standards to be in line with company policies
  • Manage staff of the technical team to be in line with the management policies and strategies

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Degree holder in building services engineering or related engineering disciplines
  • CIBSE/MHKIE or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in building operation and maintenance with at least 5 years at supervisory level in a leading property developers/ property management companies.
  • Preferably registered electrical worker in Grade C/H with hand-on experience in HV electrical installation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in working with Tenants, Leasing, Projects, and Property Management teams
  • Strong analytical mind and problem solving skills
  • Always pursue and drive for continuous improvement
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
