Senior Manager, Technical Services (Building Maintenance)
Job Purpose
Take charge of the Building Maintenance Team and support General Manager to manage the Technical Services team under Projects Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the Building Maintenance Team and support General Manager to manage the Technical Services team under Projects Department to deliver safe, reliable and cost effective operation and maintenance services.
- Coordinate the works and services between Building Maintenance Team and Building Services Team for providing seamless and integrated technical services.
- Recommend and implement operation and maintenance policies, strategies and systems.
- Recommend and implement health and safety / environmental / sustainability policies.
- Implement procurement and contracting policies, strategies and plans.
- Plan and manage procurement and execute contracts and asset enhancement projects / works under the portfolio of the Technical Services team of Projects Department.
- Manage staff of the technical team to inline with the management policies and strategies.
- Provide recommendations and services to Business Units, Property Management Department and other Departments on technical issues including technical opinions and comments on tenant fitting out, technical input on feasibility studies and new developments, manage minor alteration and modification works.
- Compile and manage budget.
- Continuous manage and review service quality and works standard to inline with company policies.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Degree holder in Building Surveying
- Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) Building Surveying Division or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience in building operation and maintenance with at least 5 years at supervisory level in a leading property developers/ property management companies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in working with Tenants, Leasing and Property Management team
- Strong analytical mind and problem solving skills
- Always pursue and drive for continuous improvement
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
