Manager, Property Investment

Job Purpose

The primary function of the role is to report to and work closely with the Head of Property Investment to  determine and implement approved asset strategies to maximize value to the Company.
The individual is expected to focus on analyses / evaluation of new investment opportunities and monitoring new projects in Hong Kong and mainland China, if applicable. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and screening new investment opportunities, structuring, carrying out due diligence and execution of approved transactions
  • Take lead in conducting feasibility study, market research, and preparing financial modelling and valuation of potential investment opportunities
  • Review operation / business performance of company investments and support senior management to formulate potential asset enhancement strategies 
  • Assist in preparing recommendation and investment memorandum to senior management 
  • Develop and maintain business channels to keep abreast of market intelligence and facilitate deal origination 
  • Liaise and coordinate internally in executing approved transactions and project development of new investments
  • Establish and maintain research system to monitor market
  • Undertake ad hoc research and analysis works from time to time 


Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Degree or above in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting or related discipline
  • Solid investment analysis, financial modelling and valuation experience is a must  
  • 7 years working experience with CFA/ HKIS/ RICS/ MBA/ CAIA Qualification 
  • Familiarity with China market and real estate industry are advantageous
  • Aim high with strong sense of commitment and accountability 
  • Effective communication, project management and time management skills are essential 
  • Good presentation and language skills (English, Chinese and Putonghua) both written and oral is necessary 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, English & Chinese Word processing
