Senior Accountant (Reporting)
Job Purpose
• Assist in managing the Group’s financial reporting, annual and interim report production, and tax compliance & exposure
• Assist in managing internal management reports and analysis, including financial reporting and control of investees
• Assist in budgetary and forecast process
• Assist in internal control and risk management
• Assis in identifying areas of improvements to enhance effectiveness of financial reporting
• Assist in ensuring finance function of newly acquired business are integrated properly
• Assist in business analytics improvement projects
• Participate in any other ad hoc assignments
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in month-end closing activities and Group consolidation and deliver tasks in timing manner
• Assist in managing the Group’s financial reporting, annual and interim report production, and tax compliance
• Assist in providing insight from financial information to support management at different level to conduct business by designing and enhancing reports and tolls for internal use, and managing the report production process
• Work closely with external professionals during tax submissions/interim review/annual audit
• Assist in reviewing internal procedures to ensure strong and yet business-friendly controls are in place
• Participate in any other ad hoc assignments
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
• University graduate in Accountancy, Finance, Business Studies or related discipline
• More than 3 years relevant experience preferably gained from Big 4 or sizeable organizations, and at least 1-2 years working in commercial companies
• Qualified CPA with solid understanding of HKFRS and Hong Kong Tax
• Experience in managing compliance with listing rules including preparation of annual and interim reports
• Strong knowledge of MS Office application, Excel with VBA a plus
• Knowledge in SAP and Data cube is highly desirable
• Be a team player with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Aptitude to succeed in a stressful and deadline-oriented environment
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
