Project Manager (1-year)
Job Purpose
- Assist Senior Project Manager for the building services design and construction of the assigned new and / or asset enhancement projects.
- Liaison, supervision, monitoring and inspection of the building services design, procurement, installation and testing & commissioning activities from design to completion through handover to Business Units and/or Property Management / Technical Services departments until expiry of defect liability period of construction contracts.
- Ensure projects are delivered to highest standard with due regard to quality, safety, time, cost, sustainability and social responsibility requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all building services related activities for the new and asset enhancement projects of residential and commercial mix-used buildings.
- Manage the assigned projects ensuring timely completion within pre-determined budgets and that the projects are in compliance with relevant specifications and government regulations.
- Liaison with different departments in formulation of project brief and establishment of user requirements.
- Procurement of consultancy services and works contracts with cost control team.
- Coordination with consultants and contractors for design and construction matters.
- Management of consultants’ and contractors’ performance in executing their duties.
- Monitoring of site progress and management of works quality with construction management team.
- Handover management of completed development or asset enhancement projects to building operators.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Recognized bachelor degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
- Corporate member of HKIE (Building Services discipline) or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience of Building Services Engineering design and/or contract management in building construction and renovation projects.
- Working experience in property developers, and residential and commercial projects would be an advantage.
- Initiative, being systematic, able to work under pressure and commit to project deliverables.
- Good leadership, site management and communication skill.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Good PC knowledge.
