Officer / Senior Officer, Procurement
Job Purpose
This is a tactical support role and will be deeply involved in the daily procurement activities in accordance with company policies and procedures. Ability to work independently, support change initiatives and drive increased work efficiency is essential to thrive in this work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Procurement Manager in the followings:
- Responsible for procurement duties, including supplier sourcing, pre-qualification, RFQ/RFT/Tender, cost analysis and negotiation, recommendation, contract management, spend analysis and reporting in accordance with the company policy and procedures.
- Liaise with user to collect service / goods specification / requirement, etc
- Issue relevant purchase order and/or contract document, variation order and to follow up delivery logistics.
- Handle dispute and discrepancy between invoices and purchase orders with vendors.
- Responsible for vendor management and conduct regular vendor assessment.
- Identify and explore potential new vendors from the market.
- Any duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Support initiatives to institute best practices and actively participate in LEAN initiatives.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Diploma or Degree holder in business administration, procurement / supply chain or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in procurement and related property management industry.
- Knowledge on eProcurement system is an advantage.
- Familiar with formal quotation and tendering process.
- Proficient in using Microsoft excel / words applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, detailed mind, well-organized.
- Good presentation skill and written English.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
