Manager, Area Curation
Job Purpose
As the Senior Manager of Area Curation at Hysan, you will lead a small team showcasing Hysan's business model through content curation, placemaking, and community-related initiatives. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, such as tenants, government officials, and NGOs, to promote the Lee Gardens area to a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to Hysan's Executive Director & COO.
- Continuously curate the Lee Gardens Area by infusing revitalised content, diverse lifestyle elements, and cultural experiences to appeal to locals and tourists.
- Be responsible for the P&L of the neighbourhood portfolio.
- Oversee various community programs and campaigns (e.g., Wellness programme, Music Busking programme) to reinforce the area characters (Uran Culture), ensuring project delivery, effectiveness, and alignment with collaborating parties.
- Manage a trade association for the area, focusing on member relations, content creation, and area branding.
- Export Hysan's community business model and area curation skillset to new projects.
- Handle any other tasks assigned by management.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- 10+ years of leasing/asset management experience, ideally in trendsetting, urban culture, and F&B-related disciplines. Placemaking expertise is a big plus.
- Extensive networks of retail brands with in-depth knowledge of trendsetting, urban culture, and consumer behaviours.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with solid execution skills
- Experience in supporting tenants in business planning and fostering business growth.
- Proactive, accountable, and determined to achieve tasks assigned.
- Exceptional at presenting compelling business cases.
- Familiarity with the Lee Gardens area and its brand offerings is a plus.
