Assistant Manager, Event & Promotions
Job Purpose
To develop and implement effective marketing plans to generate quality traffic and spending to maximize tenant turnover growth at both local and tourist markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute monthly/festive programs and activities.
- Implement effective and efficient O2O, interactive and digital initiatives, in supporting the overall branding, traffic and sales.
- Effective content curation which matches with the retail leasing portfolio strategy.
- Proactively liaise with strategic partners on tactical campaigns to drive new customers and work with tenants on driving special offers and value-added services to shoppers.
- Develop detail tactics and ensure excellent execution of marketing programs that generate traffic, stimulate shopper spending to maximize tenant turnover growth and support retail portfolio strategy.
- Ensure seamless communication with vendors and internal departments (eg. Leasing and Property Management) which drive excellent execution.
- Regularly assess effectiveness of marketing program. Carefully keep track on marketing expenses by program and ensure within plan or latest forecast.
- Collect, compile, analyse and share market intelligence on macro-trends, consumer behaviour and activities of competitive shopping malls.
- Constantly looks for innovation in program execution from promotional tactic to new medium and creative approach.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Degree holder with at least 6 years’ marketing and communications experience.
- Experience in shopping malls and/or retail marketing would be a definite advantage.
- Good connection with strategic partners, e.g. banks, online payment platforms.
- Proven track record of 3rd party co-op campaigns on driving new database and sales opportunity to the business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, mature, self-motivated and result-oriented
- Strong communication, interpersonal, project management and data analysis skills.
- Self-initiative, creative and detail-oriented.
- Strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn.
- Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
