Assistant Leasing Manager, Retail

Job Purpose

To assist Manager(s) or above in the leasing strategy planning and activities, asset enhancement projects, budgeting and reporting system and asset management.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling leasing, new letting, tenancy renewal, rent reviews of tenancies and support the Manager(s) or above of tenancy administration for large accounts.
  • Support Manager(s) or above to prepare annual budget and regular reforecast
  • Co-ordinate with property management, technical services teams and other internal departments to ensure the provision of first class tenants management services and to achieve corporate objectives
  • Support Manager(s) or above to coordinate and handle liaison related to asset enhancement projects.
  • Support the team in providing periodic market research reports and analysis.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • Degree in Business/Marketing/Real Estate or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4-6 years in major developers responsible for leasing of major shopping malls
  • Strong knowledge in handling leasing document, reports, tenant sales performance analysis and budget preparation.
  • Good marketing and retail sense in both international and local markets.
  • Strong entrepreneur mindset. Able to incubate the business of tenants and closely monitoring their business operation and performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external parties
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge in Putonghua preferred.
  • Good analytical and presentation skills with strong retail and marketing sense.
