Assistant Manager, Technical Services
Job Purpose
Assist the Technical Manager for the overall planning, budgeting, implementation and quality control of all works and E & M facilities of assigned building(s) and to provide technical advice & supports to all business units in relation to building services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Technical manager to manage, monitor, and audit for all technical works & system maintenance to deliver safe, reliable, quality, and cost-effective works in relation to building services of the assigned Hysan building(s).
- Support Manager, Technical Services to establish and implement plans for energy efficiency, indoor air quality and safety / health / environmental/ sustainability issues to align with company and departmental objectives.
- Provide technical support to other Units / Departments with respect to building services issues including tenant fitting out, reinstatement and minor alternation and modification works and inputs on new development.
- Conduct periodic review and audit of building services systems & installations to maintain the required quality standards and conditions.
- Compile and manage budget plans for capital and operational expenses.
- Prepare specifications and tender documents for repair and maintenance works / projects of the assigned Hysan building(s).
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance with policies, systems and procedures are in place.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Degree holder in building services engineering or related engineering disciplines
- MCIBSE / MHKIE or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in technical services
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and strong sense of responsibility
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Candidate with less experience would be considered as Senior Engineer / Engineer
